Vaccines at Milton Pediatrics
A message to our patients and their families,
We know there has been a lot of discussion about vaccines in the public sphere over the past several months. Many of our providers, as well as our administrative staff, have fielded queries from concerned parents. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our support for routine childhood immunization as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
At Milton Pediatrics, our mission is to provide caring, compassionate, and evidence-based care for your children. Immunizations are a core part of that mission. Please read here for Milton Pediatric’s Vaccine Policy.

Welcoming Dr. Gregory Lopez to Milton Pediatrics
Milton Pediatrics is thrilled to welcome a new pediatrician to our practice!
Dr. Lopez was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College, where he majored in biology. He returned to Philadelphia and attended Sidney Kimmel Medical College, where he achieved his two lifelong dreams of becoming a physician and attending an Eagles Super Bowl parade. He was selected by his peers as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Lopez completed his pediatric training at the Brown Pediatrics Residency Program and was the proud recipient of the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award. Following residency, he stayed at Brown Pediatrics as a chief resident and worked in the hospital’s primary care clinic.
In his spare time, Dr. Lopez enjoys rollerblading, eating ice cream, and watching all sports. He lives in Jamaica Plain with his fiancée, Sarah.
Fun fact: Dr. Lopez’s favorite children’s book is Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola.

Dr. Jack Robinson, Founder of Milton Pediatrics, Passes Away at 92
The entire Milton Pediatrics family is saddened to report the passing of Dr. Jack Robinson on April 20th. Dr. Robinson opened his pediatric office in 1967 and over the next 45 years grew that practice into the Milton Pediatrics that exists today. He was beloved by his patients, by the staff and other physicians here, and by the larger community. His legacy lives on in our hallways as we endeavor to be the type of pediatricians that he showed us how to be, and our office is still filled with so many of his patients – now parents, bringing their own children to the practice they grew up in.
We will all miss him dearly and are so grateful for the practice and family he created here at Milton Pediatrics.

Farewell to Dr. Cohan
With mixed emotions, we are celebrating Dr. Cohan’s retirement today, after 46 years of practicing pediatrics. Dr. Cohan joined Drs. Robinson and Lapey in 1978, and helped grow Milton Pediatrics into what it is today. We are so appreciative of all he’s done for his patients, his students, and his colleagues, and we are sad to see him go.
You can find his retirement letter here.
